Following the announcement of a cooperation with Lithuania-based operator Topsport, Betixon is seeking to gain major expansion in “a really exciting market.”
The igaming and sports betting operator will have access to Betixon’s entire portfolio, including the Fortune Breakers series, which combines slot play with fantasy adventure and arcade-style fighting games.
Topsport was the first operator to be licenced in Lithuania after the country’s gambling rules were liberalised in 2001. The corporation owns 63 retail betting shops and 50 casino salons around the country in addition to its digital operations.
Topsport’s founder, Gintaras Staniulis, said: “We look for partners that are doing exciting and innovative things in the gaming space, and that made Betixon a natural fit for us. In terms of pure explosive excitement, there’s nothing else quite like them.”
The agreement will expand Betixon’s presence in the expanding Lithuanian market, which grew by nearly 100 percent in Q1 2021 compared to the same time the previous year.
This is Betixon’s third deal in Lithuania this year, following the company’s debut into the country in June alongside Uniclub Casino, an online casino and sports betting operator.
Betixon’s co-founder and CTO, Lior Cohen, said: “We’re delighted to team up with the biggest brand in Lithuania, Topsport. This is a really exciting market that’s primed for further growth, and we know our games are going to cause a splash with Topsport customers.”
