The French online gambling company Betclic Everest has reported that the entire UK business presence has been removed.
Betclic Everest brands Betclic, Everest Gaming and Expekt, released letters last week to players and promotional partners announcing their exit from the UK market effective October 31. It will permit limited access to’ My Account ‘ areas after the withdrawal date, allowing clients to withdraw their funds and close their player accounts up until December 6, 2019.
As stated by SBC News, the company describes the UK as a’ very competitive market’ where its products are stagnated by’ low performance.’
Within the markets of Portugal and Poland, a restructured Betclic Everest will concentrate its external European market expansion, launching its first multi-media advertising campaigns this summer for the markets.
Following the exits of 188BET and ComeOn, Betclic becomes the largest betting incumbent this year to withdraw its services from the UK market, citing that the UK had become an unfavourable market place. EveryMatrix announced in September that it was leaving the UK white label business after its B2C licence was suspended by the UKGC.
