Free online gambling monitoring tool BetBlocker.org has verified it is approved as a responsible gambling charity by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC).
The certification has BetBlocker.org listed on UKGC’s website as one of six charities combating issues of gambling prevention.
Developed by business conflict mediator ThePogg.com, BetBlocker is a free software that offers a robust platform for inexperienced users that blocks access to more than 12,000 gambling websites.
App limitations will last from 24 hours to 5 years, allowing its users versatility to manage their gaming experiences within managed environments.
In August 2019 BetBlocker.org was licenced by the Scottish charities regulator OSCR as a registered charity organisation.
OSCR eligible BetBlocker.org under the charitable mandate to support’ prevention or relief of poverty’ in addition to’ providing relief services to those in ill health, illness, financial disadvantages or other disadvantages.’
The BetBlocker app is available across all platforms for smartphone and web, including Android, iOS, Windows, Apple Mac, Linux, and Fire.
Gambling operators, stakeholders and the general public are now able to donate directly to BetBlocker.org to fund their charities and operations.
