Betano has announced a sponsorship deal with Benfica, the Portuguese football team, in which the sports betting and online casino operator would be the first company to appear on the club’s shirts’ sleeve.
This “historic” arrangement will be unveiled at the upcoming weekend’s away match against Gil Vicente. Aside from exposure on the club shirt, the partnership also includes a number of features and activations throughout Benfica’s numerous platforms, the most of which are digital.

After two rounds of matches, Benfica leads the Portuguese Primeira Liga table, ahead of Sporting Lisbon, FC Porto, and this weekend’s opponents Gil Vicente.
This season, the team won 2-1 away from home against Moreirense in the league’s first round before overcoming Arouca 2-0 at home this past weekend.
