The BetAmerica brand of Churchill Down Incorporated has inked multi-year, multi-state igaming and sports betting agreements with Game Account Network and Kambi.
CDI says deals would allow the firm to carry out the company “more efficiently” through additional US jurisdictions, expanding on its current presence in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Mississippi.
GAN and Kambi are to provide player account management, casino network, sports trading and risk management services for the sports betting and gaming sector of the group, under the terms of the agreements.
Bill Carstanjen, CDI ‘s CEO, said of the change from the previous contract with SBTech: “We believe the transition to Kambi and GAN as our new technology providers will enable our team to execute the roll-out of BetAmerica sportsbooks and igaming product offering more efficiently, as states move to legalise and implement regulations permitting sports betting and igaming in the coming years. BetAmerica will benefit from the proven excellence of these market-leading providers.”
GAN, reporting it’s movements across the US noted in its latest financial report that significant events after the quarter saw the company “currently preparing to launch three operator clients, which we believe will drive significant market share.”
This followed the acknowledgment of one big setback, with the firm stating that it “does not anticipate sports gaming revenues from FanDuel after August 31, 2020.”
Lauding CDI as a “tier one operator client,” Dermot Smurfit, GAN’s chief executive, commented: “We look forward to powering the BetAmerica brand with our highly optimised technology platform and enabling CDI to efficiently invest their marketing capital to attract loyal sports betting and igaming players.”
In addition, BetAmerica will also leverage Kambi’s sports betting offer as CDI aims at transforming and growing its brand across the country.
Kambi CEO Kristian Nylén commented: “It’s a pleasure for Kambi to be partnering with CDI and its BetAmerica brand, which has the potential to benefit from its market access and existing customer database.
“I’m certain with the quality and experience we possess, together with the BetAmerica leadership team, we will be able to grow our businesses together as the US sports betting and igaming market expands.”
