Bang Bang Games Development Studio has been the newest company to enter the YG Masters programme of Yggdrasil, seeing its business plan and global market targets accelerated.
The YG Masters software enables the design, production and delivery of content by independent studios using Yggdrasil ‘s technology and global distribution network.
Bang Bang Games will gain access to GATI, the pre-configured, regulatory-ready development toolkit from Yggdrasil, which enables studios and game developers to use a single technology solution to create and distribute games anywhere in the world.
This means that partners from YG Masters can source, create and distribute content and expand global reach, discovering new ways to maximise revenue, all using a consistent interface.
GATI is the enabler of the Decentralized Aggregation Network in Yggdrasil. All GATI-integrated Yggdrasil partners will be able to cross-sell their games to any global Yggdrasil franchisor.
Stuart McCarthy, at Yggdrasil ‘s head of partner strategy and sourcing, explained: “We are thrilled to welcome Bang Bang Games to the YG Masters family. We have been keeping an eye on Bang Bang for some time now and have been impressed with the team and the game mechanics they are developing.
“It’s going to be very exciting to see the Bang Bang team carve their place in the industry using our unique GATI technology as a go-to market, and business strategy enabler.”
Founded earlier this year, Bang Bang Games aims to “produce games with mechanics that are easy to understand but hard to put down.” By joining YG Masters, Bang Bang will gain Yggdrasil support provisions around compliance, distribution , and marketing.
Bang Bang Games managing director Frank McPolin commented: “Yggdrasil is at the forefront of innovation, and we are very excited to enter into this partnership which will allow us to accelerate our global portfolio reach using Yggdrasil’s standardised GATI technology as key enabler. “We have been big fans of Yggdrasil for many years, and knowing that prominent, high calibre studios are already part of the YG Masters programme, puts us in great company. We are confident we can bring something different to the Yggdrasil distribution network and can’t wait to start showing the world what we’re made of!”
The emerging games studio Bang Bang Games is the latest partner to join our YG Masters programme, selecting the GATI technology as a key enabler for its global market and business strategy.
