After a successful launch event in Malta during SiGMA 2019, new slots studio AvatarUX Studios took its first steps into the casino supplier business.
One of Yggdrasil’s YGS Masters program’s initial affiliate studios, the company plans to produce games from its Hong Kong office with Asian-influenced design and game mechanics. It is said that Lilith’s Inferno, the company’s debut title, has been well received by both players and operators linked to the network of Yggdrasil.
Set in the underworld, Lilith’s protagonist duels with the deep denizens are introduced as rare relics that can lead to great wins. Players can win up to 3968x in total when they kill bosses in the hero bonus feature with Lilith’s crystal blade.
The company says it “puts a keen focus on game mechanics,” with user experience expected to become a key part of the process of development. In its first year, AvatarUX Studios plans to publish four games through YGS Masters.
Marcus Honney, managing director at AvatarUX, said: “We are delighted to be officially announcing AvatarUX to the wider igaming industry after a great launch event during SiGMA week.
“We have already released our first title, Lilith’s Inferno, through Yggdrasil’s YGS Masters programme, and we have been really encouraged with the positive feedback.
“As an independent studio with high ambitions, we have a full roadmap in place and we are really excited about what the future holds.”
Honney said about the first release of the studio earlier this year: “We are delighted to release our first game in partnership with YGS Masters. Lilith’s Inferno does not only bring the stunning graphics that players associate with AvatarUX, but also advanced gamification features and the excitement of an Yggdrasil production.
“Initial feedback has been hugely positive with the game earning rave reviews so we can’t wait to see the reaction from the wider gambling industry!”
