Bluberi Gaming Canada, a North American gaming company, has named Andrew Burke as its new CEO as part of plans for its next strategic growth stage. Cited as an experienced leader by its new employers, the industry executive brings to the job more than 14 years of experience in gaming and technology, with past experience in private equity.
Most recently, Burke worked as Senior Vice President of Slot Products at PlayAGS (AGS) to oversee all facets of the division’s U.S. and Canadian commercial operations.
He was instrumental in the success of several acquisitions during his time with the company including Colossal Gaming and Cadillac Jack. He also oversaw a number of important company product launches, including the gaming family Orion.
Burke replaces Mike Starzynski, who has led the organisation to its current market place and bought funds controlled by The Catalyst Capital Group in July 2019. His immediate focus will be on building on the success of Bluberi by improving its product offering and enhancing the processes used to support its customers while continuing to cultivate a positive culture and environment of the business.
Burke said of his new employment: “Bluberi is at a prime point of growth, and the opportunity is boundless. I am excited to work alongside our employees, partners, and customers to transform Bluberi into a formidable gaming supplier led by unparalleled customer service and product innovation.”
