Amy Howe has been promoted as Chief Executive Officer of Flutter Entertainment Plc’s major US business, FanDuel.
Howe joined FanDuel as President in February 2021, after serving as the Global COO of Ticketmaster. She was in charge of the company’s commercial strategy across all major business areas and products.
The appointment brings Flutter’s three-month executive hunt for a replacement for former FanDuel CEO Matt King, who left the firm in June to seek new opportunities.
Flutter emphasised Howe’s track record as a leader, citing her work at Ticketmaster on commercial projects that resulted in a 400 percent increase in sales and her 15-year tenure at McKinsey & Company, where she executed successful growth strategies for clients in media, entertainment, retail, and consumer goods.
Critical phase of growth
“I am delighted to confirm the appointment of Amy as our new US CEO,” commented Flutter Group CEO Peter Jackson.

Independent IPO consideration
Howe takes over as CEO of FanDuel at a time when Flutter is gearing up for the next phase of its expansion in the United States. The FTSE100 company’s board of directors is considering an independent IPO to maximise investment in its US venture and commercial ventures.
