This month, the immersive video canvas of AGS Starwall x Orion hit a milestone, surpassing 350 games at 55 casinos across North America, offering an affordable, premium integrated merchandising solution and Starwall-specific game content for the high-performance Orion Portrait slot cabinet of the brand.
Consistently surpassing expectations
In the spring of 2020, AGS began taking orders for Starwall and, amid the global pandemic, the product has consistently surpassed expectations.
Senior Sales Vice President Adam Whitehurst of AGS said: “The Starwall is an absolute showstopper, recognised by operators for its ability to activate just about any area of a casino floor with its vibrancy, its game synchronisation, and its ability to deliver a theatre-like experience to players. Whether it is installed in the middle of a casino or along a wall, the Starwall illuminates the casino floor.”
The Starwall is a first-of-its kind, incorporating hundreds of direct-view LED tiles to create a seamless 8 1⁄2-feet wide by 8 1⁄2-feet deep video backdrop. The Starwall suits sleekly and comfortably with three-packs and six-packs of premium Orion Portrait games, adding attraction to the game theme through high-impact motion graphics and celebratory animations.
With its latest 88 Tian Lun family, beginning with Jade Wins Deluxe and Golden Wins Deluxe, AGS launched the Starwall in the Class III and Class II markets. The game titles deliver the same proven player-favourite features that, while incorporating an exciting bonus wheel, have made the classic Jade Wins and Golden Wins casino-floor top performers.
And the company is building a robust library of Starwall follow-on games, including new Grand Ox Wins and Piggy Wins from 88 Tian Lun titles, followed by Lucky Panda and Phoenix Wonder. Later this year, another new family, Golden Dragons, will debut, featuring the first player-selectable multi-denomination games from AGS.
