Afshin Yazdian Named As Paysafe US Acquiring Division CEO

Afshin Yazdian has been named the new CEO of the newly formed US Acquiring division of Paysafe, with his appointment due to take effect on July 1st.

Yazdian will take responsibility for leading third party Paysafe and direct channels, reporting directly to Philip McHugh, CEO of the Paysafe Group.

Yazdian said, in statement on his appointment: “I am incredibly excited to join the Paysafe family, a company I have long admired and an organisation I believe is well-positioned for incredible growth and expansion.

“We will strive to rapidly change the payments industry and become the leading provider of payment solutions in the U.S. by both utilising technology and focusing on an exceptional customer experience.”

Before joining Paysafe, Yazdian was recently President of Priority Payment Systems (PPS), a Georgia-based payment technology company that serves more than 174,000 merchants across America. Previous to its merger with PPS, he had served as President & CEO of New York-based Cynergy Software.

His promotion marks the culmination of a transformation of the management leadership for the Paysafe Payment Processing business unit, which now functions in two separate units.

Paulette Rowe works alongside Yazdian as the CEO of Paysafe ‘s global Integrated and Ecommerce Solutions division.
