Online gaming organisation 888 Holdings has expanded its contract alongside the New York Jets franchise of the National Football League (NFL) to cover the current season.
The continued collaboration builds on the good initial campaign that saw 888casino branding function widely within the 82,000 plus seat MetLife Stadium, with Jets branding also featured on the 888casino page and app in New Jersey as part of the new agreement.
Yaniv Sherman, head of group commercial development at 888, explained: “The extension of the deal between the New York Jets and 888casino for a second year in a row only reaffirms our expansion efforts and reiterates the interest in online gaming within the US sports community.
“888casino already has a unique position in Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey for online gaming. The extension of the 888casino and Jets deal will continue to strengthen awareness of the 888casino brand, and will aid the group’s growth strategy towards becoming a leading operator in the developing and potentially significant US online gaming market.”
Under the terms of the current agreement, ads are made available online through team supporter pages and personal media and feature on 98.7 ESPN during the Jets Games radio broadcasts. 888casino will also be the formal sponsor of the October 21 Night Football NFL Champions New England Patriots match.
Moreover, as the season advances, both partners anticipate that the agreement will provide extra possibilities for enhanced activity.
“We are proud to continue this partnership with 888casino in the gaming space allowing us to further engage and provide experiences for our fans in the mobile and digital world,” added Ian Lasher, senior vice president of corporate partnerships at the New York Jets.
888casino’s ongoing collaboration with the Jets reflects a amount of innovations in the US industry for the business and follows the introduction of its fresh online casino system, Orbit, in New Jersey in July.
