888 Holdings increased the output of its 888 casino entity on the Spanish market after entering into a new partnership with Scientific Games headquartered in Las Vegas.
The link-up will see the launch of over 120 games through the open gaming system of Scientific Games, complete with a variety of features, gameplay options and user protection tools as the company aims to put “players at the heart” and provide “scalable and reliable igaming technology” for partners.
Guy Cohen, SVP of B2C at 888, said of the new partnership: “At 888, we are focused on providing our customers the most enjoyable gaming experience.
“Through our partnership with Scientific Games we can now offer our Spanish customers an additional 120 games to our platform with more games to come. We look forward to building on our relationship with Scientific Games and delivering for our customers.”
As a result of the deal, the portfolio of 888 games now features a range of titles from the in-house studios and third-party partners of Scientific Games, including Merlin’s Millions, Superbet, Gorilla Go Wilder and Zeus 2.
Dylan Slaney, SVP of casino at SG Digital, commented: “888 is a huge player in the Spanish igaming market, and we’re thrilled to offer our content to their players. It will increase our presence in the market and give players a top-notch igaming experience backed by the reliability and scalability of our OpenGaming platform.”
888 stated earlier this week that the company had entered 2020 “with good momentum across several regulated European markets,” as the group stressed confidence in achieving its 2019 EBITDA goals.
Boosted by continued progress in the second half of the year, especially in December, when revenue is said to have reached “an all-time monthly record,” the post-close trading update, which did not contain specific figures, was for the year ending December 31, 2019.
