The cancellation of the Orlando IAAPA show has left many operators unable to supply their companies with the new technologies, a fact recognised by some suppliers who have conducted webinars.
The view is that webinars do not provide a full image, so for the Amusement 360 Innovation Showcase, 20 of the major industry suppliers are coming together. It is a single event in which an industry beginner, or an existing operator, can see live product demos, meet suppliers face-to-face on a virtual platform, and perform research for their business.
Danny Gruening, Creative Works’ vice president of marketing, said: “Some operators are making purchases and expanding, but others are not quite ready yet. However, in both cases, this is the right time for business research and planning. We felt that it is important to work with our partners to create this event to make the process easy and engaging.”
